Approved Transfer Prerequisite and Corequisite Courses

Several courses have already been reviewed and approved by the Nursing Department and other relevant departments on campus as equivalent to our prerequisite and corequisite courses. Review to determine if the transfer course that you want to take has already been approved:

• BIOL 101
• BIOL 212
• BIOL 325/326
• CHEM 125
• NUTR 125
• PSYC 111
• PSYC 360

If the course you want to take does not appear in the list, please provide the following information to the Chair of the Nursing Department for pre-approval:

1. Course Location
2. Course Name
3. Number of Credits
4. Course Description

Approved Advanced Placement (AP) Courses

If you have completed AP courses and the corresponding AP exam,  consult the Office of the Registrar  to find information regarding acceptance of these courses. Examples of AP courses that have been accepted in the past include psychology, chemistry and biology.
