Housing Timeline for New Students
Students live on campus all four years at the College of Saint Benedict. The college operates on semesters and new students are admitted each semester. The following time line applies to new students with an admission term of fall or spring semester. See the Four-Year Residential Experience page for more information regarding the four-year residency requirement.
PAY ENROLLMENT FEE
Typically, within a week of paying your enrollment fee, students receive their login information for your CSB+SJU network/email account. Use this to log into the Housing Portal as well as other campus resources!
APPLY FOR HOUSING ONLINE
Forms to complete in the Housing Portal:
- CSB First Year Housing Questionnaire
OR
- CSB Transfer Student Housing Questionnaire
CHECK HOUSING STATUS (MID-JUNE)
Housing assignments and roommate information will be available during your Summer Registration date and posted on the Housing Portal (after Summer Registration dates).
FALL MOVE-IN!
• New International Student Move-In: August 20
• New Student Move-In: August 22
• New Transfer Student Move-In: August 22
• Returning Student Move-In: August 23-24th
Students are encouraged to visit campus during Summer Registration Days. Although you may not be able to see your specific room, you can tour a similar room and take measurments. Showrooms are available in all first-year housing buildings. If you are unable to visit campus before move-in day, check out the photo gallery of first-year rooms.
