As has become our tradition, the first Wednesday of the fall semester featured our department’s Welcome Back BBQ. Students and professors gathered to celebrate being back together for what should be an excellent year. The professors grilled the burgers and brats. Students reconnected with friends, met new classmates, played Bags, and listened to entertainment provided by senior Zachary Thomas.

 This event was attended by a record 100+ students, and we even had to rush to Dining Services to find more food and beverages!

 Many students have described our department as a “big family.” We hope that events like this BBQ will help students make connections with professors and classmates that they can use through their years at Saint Ben’s and Saint John’s.

 It was a great night, and it’s going to be a great year!
