Accounting

Meet your Tutors

The Accounting and Finance Department has eight teaching assistants who assist students and professors in the department. As a TA, each student works a few daytime shifts, during which they tutor younger students and help professors with class preparation, special events, and other projects. Most TAs also work one evening per week as a tutor in our homework lab, which is open from 7-9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. The department actively seeks out TAs who are excellent in the classroom, strong communicators, and active on campus. The TAs have an average GPA of over 3.90, and seven of the eight already have either internships or full-time jobs lined up.
