On May 2, we held our First Annual Accounting and Finance Department Bags Tournament. The event, which was co-sponsored by the Minnesota Society of CPAs and our Finance Club, drew a couple dozen participants. A double-elimination bracket was formed, and students and professors alike enjoyed an afternoon of festivities.

Juniors Terron O’Neil and Duncan Bistodeau lost an early match and had to battle through the consolidation bracket. They advanced to the finals and faced the prospect of needing to twice defeat first-year students Tommy Schnell and Caden Jager in the finals. It didn’t look promising, but Terron hit a “four-bagger,” and victory went to the juniors.

 Offseason training programs were sent to all students the following morning.
