CSB Exemption Denial Appeal

Residents may request an appeal of their exemption denial and meet with the Housing Exemption Appeals Committee. 

At this meeting, Residents  may share new information to support their request. Examples may include lay-off notices from a guardian’s employer, pay stubs, marriage certificates, etc. If Residents submitted a request due to a change in financial circumstance, they are encouraged to complete a “Special Circumstances” form prior to the appeals meeting: https://www.csbsju.edu/financialaid/applyingforaid/2122financialaid-x50037. Completion of this form will prompt a review of your financial aid package.

Any supporting materials should be emailed to anotch001@csbsju.edu two business days before the appeals meeting. This will allow the committee time to review the supporting materials.

 After the meeting, the Appeals Committee will make a decision and send out letters within one week of the appeal date.
