Application Deadline: Rolling Admission
The Spiritual Direction Concentration provides a Benedictine-focused training in the art and practice of the care of souls. The Concentration is grounded in the Collegeville Core of scripture, monastic spirituality and liturgy. Specific practices that guide the Benedictine way of living are integrated into the spiritual direction courses:

The School of Theology’s Graduate Certificate in Spiritual Direction is embedded within this master’s degree in ministry. Students may obtain the Graduate Certificate separately.
Graduates will be prepared for ministries that focus on spiritual growth as well as the practice of spiritual direction with individuals or groups.
Students are required to take HCHR 402 and HCHR 404. They may select 1 course (3 credits) each in Old Testament, New Testament, Systematic Theology, Moral Theology, and Liturgy, and Field Education.
