Peer Leaders

arrowsThe HIVE is part of the Academic Center for Excellence and Success (ACES) at CSB/SJU. ACES is a variety of offices and programs meant to support academic student success both in and out of the classroom. It includes offices like the Writing Center, Experience and Professional Development, the libraries, Undergraduate Research, Academic Advising, Residential Life and others. The HIVE is a personalized digital platform that links students with faculty, advisors, instructors, tutors, career ambassadors and many other resources on campus who can help facilitate student success.

This page is intended to support students who serve in a Peer Leader role in support of student experiences on campus. Peer Leaders may have scheduled office hours as tutors, may meet with student on a walk-in basis as Career Ambassadors or may serve as mentors and supports to students in their roles as FYX Mentors as well as other student leadership roles on campus. Peer Leaders will complete training and review how they may access or use The HIVE with the organizations or departments that you serve. Should you have any questions, please connect with your supervisor and they can connect you to the resources and tools for your specific role. Supervisors - please reach out to the Student Success Administrator if you need additional resources or would like to schedule a hands-on training session for your group.
