Avenza App Instructions

Download and Import an Abbey Arboretum Map into the Avenza Maps App:

  • Download the Avenza Maps app: Android or Apple
  • Copy the URL for the Abbey Arboretum map(s) of your choice (press and hold the link below on your mobile device in order to see the option to copy the link):

Deer Hunt Map
Abbey Arboretum Trail Map
Ski Trail Map
Wobegon Trail - CSB to SJU

  • Open the Avenza app on your device and select the option to add a map (on Android this is an orange circle with a ‘+’)
  • Select the option to “Download or import a map”
  • Under the heading “Import Your Own Maps” select the option to enter a URL of a map.
  • Press and hold your finger on the entry box to see the “Paste” option to paste the URL you copied in step 2 above.
  • Click OK.
  • Once the map is finished processing you can click on it to open the map. If you are at Saint John’s a blue dot will indicate your location on the map. The app works offline using your device GPS once your map is imported.
