Prescribed Burn Volunteer Form

Thank you for volunteering to help with this year's prescribed burns! Please remember that you must stay for your entire shift and may not come late or leave early. Equipment limits volunteer participation to 20 people. In the event that spaces fill up, we will notify you of the situation.

You may sign up for multiple shifts. Most of the burning is usually completed early and we often finish before the end of the first shift. The final shift only requires 2-3 individuals willing to patrol the burn site in the evening.

Report to SJU Fire Hall on the day of the burn (see campus map) to sign in and receive safety gear.

	I am 18 or older (requirement to participate).
	I'm a Saint John's Fire Department Member
	I've completed U.S. Forest Service 130/190 wildfire training
	I've helped with prescribed fire at Saint John's or elsewhere before
	I don't have any previous experience, but am excited to learn

I am participating in this burn as:

	a volunteer (unpaid), student or community
	a CSB/SJU/OSB instructor for a class assignment
	a CSB/SJU/SOT student for a class assignment
	a CSB/SJU/OSB employee (paid to participate)
	a student employee (paid to participate)
