Sexual Misconduct Complaint Procedures
It is the policy of the College of Saint Benedict (CSB) and Saint John's University (SJU) to investigate and promptly seek the equitable resolution of allegations of sexual misconduct in violation of the Sexual Misconduct Policy.
The Sexual Misconduct Complaint Procedures shall be the exclusive process for handling sexual assault and other sexual misconduct complaints and supersedes all other processes. If a complaint implicates the Sexual Misconduct Policy and another CSB and/or SJU policy, the complaint of a violation of the Sexual Misconduct Policy will be handled under the Sexual Misconduct Complaint Procedures and the institutions may, at their discretion and unless an applicable handbook provision states otherwise, consider the other alleged policy violations under the Sexual Misconduct Complaint Procedures or conduct separate proceedings. Allegations of sex discrimination that do not involve sexual misconduct will be handled in accordance with the Human Rights Policy.
