Commonly Asked Questions

Parking:  Recreation facility users must park in either Lot 8 or 10 outside of the HCC. Please refer to parking map. If you receive a parking ticket by mistake please turn it into one of our staff and we will take care of it.

Purchasing: All passes may be purchased at the campus recreation desk in the lower level of the Haehn Campus Center. Exact cash and checks (payable to CSB) accepted. At this time we cannot accept credit or debit cards.

Facility Access: All Level II and Summer pass holders will receive a FAB to gain access into the fitness center.   

Facility Availability: The Field house, Track, and Pool space may be unavailable some weeknights and weekends due to intramurals, athletic/club team practices, and campus events.

Operating Hours: Operating hours are subject to change based on academic and holiday breaks, as well as campus events. Changes in operating hours are posted at the Campus Recreation desk, pool locker room doors, and on our department website at www.csbsju.edu/campusrec. If you have questions or would like to call ahead to inquire about availability please call 320-363-5214.

Can I Bring a Guest?:  Immediate family members who are minors of CSB/SJU students, Faculty/Staff, Retirees have free use of the Pool, Field House, Track, and Racquetball Court ONLY WHEN ACCOMPANIED BY the CSB/SJU student, faculty/staff, or Retiree. Any adults (friends, immediate family members or acquaintances) must purchase a semester/year pass or day pass from the Campus Recreation Desk upon arrival. Only CSB/SJU Students, Faculty/Staff/Retirees and CSB Monastery can use the Fitness Center free of charge. All others MUST purchase either a semester/year pass or day pass from the Campus Recreation Desk.

Can my kids use the pool?:  Children under the age of 15 can use the pool ONLY during family swim on SUNDAY's from 12:00pm-2pm (during academic year only).
